Tax problems have a process. And a price.
Unfiled returns, a balance you can't pay, a notice you don't understand. We pull your IRS transcripts, write you a plan, and quote a fixed fee you can take or leave. An Enrolled Agent runs every case. No sales calls.

You have probably already talked to a resolution firm.
They quoted you a fee on the first call, before they had seen a single transcript. Then the fee grew. Then the person who sold you the case disappeared and a "case manager" took over.
We built OnCourse Tax to be the opposite of that. The diagnostic comes first, the plan is written, the price is fixed, and the Enrolled Agent who signed your power of attorney is the one who talks to the IRS.
How it works
Diagnostic
Signed authorization, every transcript pulled, statutes checked. You get a written plan with a fixed fee for each option. $1,697, credited to your case.
Compliance
Any returns that actually have to be filed get filed. The IRS will not negotiate until you are current, and the transcripts tell us exactly which years count.
Resolution
We submit the option you chose and handle every call and letter until it is accepted. You hear from us at each milestone, not when there is a problem.
Stay on course
Optional monthly monitoring for $29 catches the quiet things that default agreements: a missed estimate, a new balance, a notice to an old address.
Two legal matters where the tax question decides the outcome
Tax debt in bankruptcy
Which years discharge and which survive is decided by dates in the transcripts. We read them and write a memo per year, before the petition. For debtors and the attorneys who file for them.
Bankruptcy and tax debt
Taxes in divorce
Joint liabilities the decree cannot reassign, assets that are worth less after tax than they look, and innocent spouse relief when it is already too late. For spouses and their family law attorneys.

Direct-bill at a partner rate or client-bill at retail. Co-branded or quiet. We handle the IRS matter and report back to you at every milestone.
Common questions
- How much does tax resolution cost?
- At OnCourse Tax, the diagnostic is $1,697 and is credited to your case. A standard installment agreement is $2,097 all in. A partial-pay agreement or Offer in Compromise is $3,297 all in. Prior-year returns are $997 per year for individuals. Every price is published on our pricing page.
- Who will actually work on my case?
- Aaron Siegel, an Enrolled Agent and Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, signs the power of attorney and directs every case. There is no sales team and no hand-off to someone you have not met.
- What is the first step?
- A paid diagnostic, $1,697, or $897 for households at or below the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic income threshold. We get transcript authorization, pull everything the IRS has on you, check the collection statutes, and write a plan with the fixed fee for each option. The fee is credited to your case if you move forward.
- Do you work with state tax agencies too?
- Yes. Colorado Department of Revenue and other state agencies follow a similar process, and most IRS problems come with a state problem attached. We handle both in the same case.
